Why do we do the work we do?

I decided to start The Home Tailors because I knew there was a gap in the home service base industry. Through working with a company in Toronto, I had the opportunity to speak directly with the home owners of houses we were working on. ​
I received feedback that the service I was providing was highly appreciated and a relief because many home owners have had a number of unfortunate experiences with other contractors. And it usually came down to lack of customer service and not having their expectations met.

Using my previous service experience, I knew how clients think and how to ensure they get what they want. I would set out not only to meet expectations, but to exceed and overdeliver on them. We also come back to fix things if ever clients are no fully satisfied. Our goal is to provide so much value and friendliness/consideration, so that clients are left feeling that they received much more than what they paid for.

I believe life is all about serving others. There's no better feeling than to be able to share what you have with someone else. To us, this means giving our time and labour to help each of our clients. This is also why we've started an annual blanket drive to provide comfort for people who don't have the warmth of a home in the winter.

2. What ways can we add more value? Is there little things we can do to help our client out in any way. ex. bringing in their packages for them or cleaning a skylight we happen to have access to while a ladder is set up.
